Mark L. Lampl is Founder of Line of Departure, LLC. Line of Departure provides organizational consulting and individual coaching. Areas of individual coaching specialization include; Career Crisis Management, Career Transitioning, Managing through Personal Issues in the Corporate Environment, Career Strategy and Life Coaching.
Mr. Lampl was a Partner with Korn Ferry International, a global executive search firm for over 30 years. He founded the firm's industrial practice. He conducted executive searches in all disciplines throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas principally for clients in the chemicals, process industries, automotive components, distribution, logistics and supply chain, as well as construction and engineering, general manufacturing and business-to-business sectors.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he was Vice President, Human Resources for AGA Gas, Inc. a Swedish firm. Previously, he was Area Personnel & Industrial Relations Manager with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Mr. Lampl's previous business experience has included the position as Manager of Industrial Relations at Combustion Engineering, Inc.
Mr. Lampl received a Certificate in Coaching from New York University, School of Continuing and Professional Studies in 2010 and is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). He received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Miami. He retired from the U. S. Army Reserve, where he held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Lampl served during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, where he was awarded the Bronze Star.
